The Expedition Project window in ARC Raiders got nudged back a bit, and for once a delay actually feels good. With the new dates running from December 17th to the 22nd, you get an extra weekend to squeeze out more value from your stash, whether you grind it yourself or lean on ARC Raiders Coins to top things off. The devs are calling it a stability thing, so the servers do not melt when everyone piles in, but most players just see it as bonus time to prep for the reset and line up some long-term power. How The Departure Works This Expedition is not a random forced wipe where the game nukes your progress for nothing. You choose to “depart” using your Caravan, opt in sometime between the 17th and the 22nd, and on the 22nd everyone who signed up gets reset together. You drop your level, gear, all that progress, which sounds rough at first. The upside is huge though. The headline reward is a permanent +12 stash space upgrade on your account, so every run after that feels a bit less cramped. On top of that, you can earn up to 5 Skill Points based on the total value in your stash at the cutoff. Every 1 million in value gives 1 Skill Point, so hitting 5 million means your new character pops in already stacked with a full set of skills. Permanent Boosts And Cycle Perks Those long-term upgrades are only part of the deal. The next cycle comes with temporary buffs too, and they matter if you want to race ahead. You get a repair cost reduction that keeps you from going broke after a few bad fights, and there is an XP boost that helps you climb back to max level way faster than fresh players. You will feel the difference during those early raids where every scrap of gear matters. The trick is to treat your stash like a scorecard instead of a museum. Stuff you never use but keeps sitting there? Sell it off. Every bit of value counts toward that 5 million target, and dead weight does not help you when the reset hits. Where To Farm Real Value If you want to hit that 5 million mark without burning out, you have to stop hoarding junk and start thinking like a trader. Squads with solid gear should be running Stella Montis or the Dam Battlegrounds as often as they can stand it. Those spots are risky, but one good pull like a Queen Core or Bastion Cell can drop over 200k in a single slot, so a couple of clean extracts can change your entire stash total. Solo players usually have better luck playing it a bit safer, hitting the Blue Gate during the day and farming Tempest blueprints. Just do not forget to cash in duplicates at the trader. Raw coins count toward your total value, and letting extra gear sit in your stash is basically throwing away Skill Points. Shortcutting The Grind Not everyone has time to run a hundred sweaty raids before the Expedition window closes, and that is where people start looking for shortcuts. If you want to start the new cycle with a serious edge but you are short on free evenings, grabbing ARC Raiders items from places that sell Mythics, rare alloys, and other high-value pieces can cut out a lot of the boring grind and let you focus on PvP. It is one of those things where you either commit to the long farm or you pay to save your time, and plenty of players quietly pick the second option. However you plan to do it, make sure you are signed up for departure before the 22nd so you do not miss the reset rewards, and think about how that extra stash space and skill head start line up with your goals for the next season, especially if you are eyeing the ARC Raiders Battle pass as part of your long-term setup.
