Just noticed this morning after a close look at the carbon tip of the (2 MONTH OLD 173) SC Project can that it's all cracking due to the heat 232 Looks a bit like old paint thats been on a window frame in the hot sun for 20 years 157
Not happy to say the least. Gonna flick them an email about this and i'll post a pic soon too.
I know a few of you took the plunge and ordered one and wanted to know if you've got a similar issue? It's not that visible straight away but when you look between the steel outlet and the carbon surround it's all cracked and curling up 435
Sh*te quality materials by the looks of it.
Well p*st off.

That's not good, I will keep an eye on mine
I just checked their website, It's got a two year guarantee.
Send it back and tell them you have put the picture on the forum, maybe they will be a bit quicker to respond.

thats bad news that, ive ordered the gp evo off them in carpon but the end of can is stainless steel,i did think when looking at your can before buying, that carpon at the end of the can would get the most heat, just a idea why not return it and ask them to fit a stainless steel end sure they would, or change it for you and see if it happens again 084

Hi ramjet, ive got a little story for you and photos. I sent away for the evo can as i looked at their website as it looked very glossy and well set up thinking their cans would be really nice, anyway paid my £320, when it arrived found that the link pipe was missing, the eyelet that the spring fits into the can also the welding looked like pidgeon shite. Got in touch with them told them that the parts were missing of the link pipe said they would send me another link pipe, sent it back to them with the cost to me of £28 back to italy thought they would have waved that but they wouldnt so all in all i wasnt very happy, so if i was you i wouldnt bother. The quality is not up to £320 worth, hope this helps you please tell others and other websites, we have got to look after each other, rant over now 232 Also at the end of the can looks like it was polished off with wire wool and i dont know who got let loose with the file on the link pipe and while am on i think pizzas are a big rip off aswell 151

Thanks Tony the tiger for sharing your experience. From the pics it seems you have every right to be unhappy. I'm sure many people will benefit from your comments - including me.

I have got one, it's the high mount with Carbon tip. No problems with mine regarding quality so far. However when it arrived the box was damaged and the fastening springs were missing (no big deal)
Jdownunder had a problem with delamination of the carbon tip after a couple of weeks of riding.
I also read about a few others who had minor problems.
I think I have been lucky with mine, but they do seems to have some manufacturing issues that need to be sorted out before I would recommend this company to others.
The worst thing is they look and sound absolutely fantastic, such a shame.

I have the high mounted black stainless steel finish and have no problems at all.

I've been a bit lazy of late and not got around to photographing the sh*te quality of the carbon end cap on my pipe. It doesn't seem to have got worse but still it's not on. Those link pipe pics look very similar to how mine arrived and to be honest i was too bowled over with the overall look and sound once fitted to let it bother me. Now the end cap has cracked i'm p*ssed off to say the least.
I will be emailing them with my comments on my pipe and pics demanding an explanation. If they won't play ball then we'll see what TWO, BIKE and RIDE have to say.
